Water is the most essential element for all human beings. You can live without pizza, burger, chowmein, rice, chapatis, bread, vegetables, fruits, bla bla bla….I am talking about food. But you can’t live without water.

According to Research, an individual can live 8 days without food but without water, only 3 days. That shows how water is important for our lives.

Before we start on our topic. I want to say one motivational thought that is coming in my mind regarding water.

Make your character like water; it makes its own way from the obstacles that come its way; and it also makes the shape of the vessel in which it is poured. Just like that, we have to find the solution to our problem and we also have to adjust according to the situation….That’s from my side. Now lets move to the topic.

75% of the body’s weight is made up of water and when the water level dips, the body gets dehydrated and can cause many health issues.

Benefits of Drinking Water :

1. Flushes out the toxins

This is the best quality of the water, that it flushes out the toxin through sweat and urine and keeps your body healthy. It helps in reducing kidney stones and smooth functioning of kidneys. Stones are good for the outside, not the inside. So, drink water to protect your kidney.

2. Helps in digestion

A sufficient amount of water improves the metabolism and helps the stomach in digesting the food. But lukewarm water is good for digestion. So, try to drink lukewarm water after you take the meal. Now don’t start drinking tea by saying that this also contains water and it is warm. Water means water.

3. Headaches and migraines

In normal condition, many of times you might have noticed that long gap in intake of water causes headache and migraines. So, keep your body hydrated. Now if your boss is also reading my article then you can’t give the excuse to your boss that you are having a headache; otherwise he will take a glass of water and stand in front of you.

Water helps you to moist your mouth and washes away bacteria and also the food particles. Result, freedom from bad breathe. Now it doesn’t mean that you start blowing air from your mouth to everyone saying that ‘hey, I don’t breathe bad’. Bad breathe will be ok, but you can get toothache.

7. Feel Happy

1. Sweating Problem

Due to excessive consumption of water you may led to extreme sweating problems.

2. Disturbance in Sleep

But if we take an excess amount of water or fluid then ADH will not be able to control, result, our bladder will fill up and we have to get up at night. So, it is recommended that don’t drink any fluid for 2-3 hours before going to bed. And as we know that sleep is very important for body and mind, so, follow this rule.

Conclusion

Water is very essential for the body; but if it is taken in the right quantity.
Excess of good is also bad. That’s why I say, ‘Be kind,humble and honest but not so kind that anybody can you fool’.

For a normal person 1.5 litre to 2 litre is sufficient. But for kidney patient 1 litre to 1.5 litre.

2. Don’t drink water while standing. It can cause many health issues, like indigestion, cause risk to lungs and heart, and most important it is very harmful for knees joint. It increase the chances of arthritis.
